Financial Services Federation Inc
The Financial Services Federation is a voluntary industry body. Membership of the Federation includes building societies, major finance companies, the PSIS and other non-banking financial intermediaries. Adherence to a Code of Conduct is a condition of membership of the Federation. The Federation does not investigate complaints itself but will intervene to ensure complaints against its members are investigated and acted upon.
Click http://www.fsf.org.nz/all_members.html">HERE to see the list of FSF members. Companies not appearing on this list are not members of the FSF.
In the first instance, you should try and sort out your complaint with the company concerned. If you are not satisfied, you can take your complaint to the Federation. Complaints should be addressed to the Federation's Executive Director at the address shown above. The Federation will refer the matter to the chief executive of the company for investigation and action. The chief executive is required to advise the Federation of the outcome of the investigation.
